and a sand martin to boot. A good day's fishing at Barton Court is turned great by the wildlife. My earliest swallows by some distance. Also marsh tit, cetti's warbler (heard), reed bunting, kingfisher, red kite (3), buzzard (4), kestrel (a pair mating very noisily!), sparrowhawk (f). Also at least 3 different water voles, good numbers of bumble bees and even a peacock butterfly.
