Approached pylon 3 from east with prey (pigeon?), then landed in pylon 4 for 10 seconds or so before being mobbed off by a crow. Then took off east with prey as far as pylon 2 before doing a u-turn and eventually landing on top southern arm of pylon 5.

2 adults. 1 juv. On arrival at 06.00 a juv went.off to the south with only a glimmer of light on the horizon. Both adults were on the rooftop being quite vociferous with each other in what amounted to still being in the dark. In the strong & cool easterly breeze the adults settled on the west side of BT, but soon reappeared at 06.50 repeatedly flying around BT at rooftop level silently when a Red Kite drifted over BT. No chase but a defiant gesture of "push off". SU473668.

2 adults. 2 juvs. It all got a bit hectic this morning with 2 juveniles chasing town centre feral pigeons in the fog very enthusiastically. While the large unringed female (Jill) continued with the feral hunting Mrs N picked over the remains of the Teal from yesterday. Remarkably a second fresh Teal was bought to the main rooftop by the 3rd juvenile (Jack, unringed male) who we haven't seen for several weeks. The Teal was already part eaten and later we found the adult male Black 69 lon the west side of BT looking rested and well fed, so think he caught and ate it to start with and Jack then grabbed it from him. 2 ad 2 juv. Adult female Mrs N came in with a Teal and within seconds the eldest juvenile Blue YL grabbed it from her in flight. 2nd juvenile (Jill) looked on patiently until it was her turn. When she had finished Mrs N had a session eating it and even the adult male Black 69 came along and begged to have some, the latter behaviour not observed before. SU473669.

Eaten in the nestbox, it was a Black-headed Gull, many of which come to clear the food from the omnipresent rubbish scattered about the carparks around KFC. SU473668.
