	1s. By flood with 50plus Herring gull at 07.50hrs. All flew off north at 08.34hrs. 14 sand martins and 1 swallow passed through. 1 snipe flying over flood.

10:35	One in gull flock on floods just north of Ridgeway at Churn Halt, and then flew with the flock SW towards East Ilsley, but couldn't be relocated.

	1w. In gull flock roosting on field drilled this morning by gallops at top of Churn road up from Compton. Note my photos (17th March) in photo section show three Iceland gulls in the flock! There have been a few years with three recorded in the county and one with four (2005) but I don't think three together in one place?

13:30	1w. Both 1w - I must have arrived as RCW was leaving. Initially 1 distantly on the field ridge and 1 seen flying off East. Then when the farmer started ploughing again after his lunch, 1 followed the tractor. Shortly later a 2nd bird flew back from the East and followed the tractor too. He is ploughing very close to the road, so viewing distance is under 100 yds at times. Very windy though - record shot of 1 bird uploaded.

12:10	In field being ploughed just west of A34 same as yesterday. with Lin Matthews and one other birder close views. With Lesser Black-Backed Gulls one in middle of field one on the ridge then all flew off at 12:25 some birds came back just after I was leaving.
