13:00 | 1 male. 1 seen low in the reedbed, and another heard, upstream of the 1st footbridge (just in Berks). Searched for another 2hrs without relocating them. Apparently a Bittern was also flushed earlier in area between the two footbridges. | |||

male. In the reed bed to the west of Dorney Wetlands on the south side of the river next to the picnic tables. The birds ranged from the eastern end of this bed (in Berks) to almost the western end, which is about 50 yards into Bucks and were favouring the Bucks end when I left. Difficult to see except when flying over the reeds as they feed very low down in the reeds. Calling frequently when I left. | ||||
