New Pochard and Tufted Duck have arrived over past few days.New nasal-saddled Pochard-1st w drake -this one has a fancy capital D ,with a figure 9 next to its left bill saddle attachment. Need help to photograph this saddle and see all details.Best viewed from river ,near 'no swimming' sign ,in flooded willows.

15:00	including 1 immature male ,with nasal saddle - Bright emerald green base with ,in Black,letter B and two black squares,which was badly fitting the saddle . Also on its left leg ,a metal or dirty white plastic ring-could see no markings.

06:30	mixed. one late eclipse & flightless male with bill tag, light blue with black 23 stamped on it; looks a bit incongruous.Web search indicates "ringing" possibly Nantes, France as previous records in Dorset show this. Have sent record to Alain Caisegrues.
