Out for lunch looked up at gull making a racket and saw completely white wings - not med as seen plenty of those. Possible Glaucous but wasnt quite that big and had short neck and seemed "chunky" so very likely Iceland gull - was circling slowly south east.

found when nearly dark, roosting with LBBGs on north lake. A very pale gull, slightly smaller than LBBG, with long bright white primaries, rounded head, gentle expression, weak looking bill, pale with black tip. 2nd winter or possibly 1st winter - too dark to see biscuit colouration if present.
