At least five mistle thrushes in the mistletoe in Grand Avenue (the gravel drive leading to the hotel). There were frequent sightings of them, both in the mistletoe and in flight, so there were probably many more than five there.

About a dozen mistle thrushes fled a berry-laden holly tree in the Water Garden at Cliveden, as a sparrowhawk approached at high speed. The thrushes flew away with the sparrowhawk in hot pursuit.

I was the first person into the Water Garden at opening time. I saw a minimum of five mistle thrushes, but they were everywhere. My guess is that there were ten to thirty birds, as I kept seeing groups of them. They all disappeared within thirty minutes, as more people arrived.

Two mistle thrushes on mistletoe, one at either end of the Long Garden. I saw a third one an hour or two later, but it may have been one of the two birds that I had already seen, so all I can say is that I saw at least two, and possibly three mistle thrushes during my walk.
