In field at the west end of Craven Road (same place as yesterday). Short periods of reeling every 5 minutes or so. Not seen.

male. Still present at this time, west of the western end of Craven Road - singing intermittently, though strongly, and showing even less often. Favouring the scrub between the main metalled pathway and the muddy path that cuts across the field to the north-west, generally in the area north of the two conifers and Horse Chestnut.

male. Singing in scrubby field immediately west of the western end of Craven Road (about 50m N of main path). They seem to be following me around this year. Fine by me.

No sight nor sound of this bird by this time, 21 other species vocalising by this time however.

male. In song in scrub/reeds south of Railway line at approx above map ref. Heard from track that runs SE towards the canal. Despite not being 21 anymore I can still here this species! Phew. SU505665.
