13:30	The best (only) place to park is opposite The French Horn Restaurant at Sonning Bridge. Take the footbridge over the Thames and follow the riverside path north east. After about a mile you come to some very upmarket houses on the Berkshire side of the river, just beyond them and on the OXFORDSHIRE side of the river is a large stand of alders along the bank. The Mealy Redpolls were in with a mixed flock of about 60 Siskins and Lesser Redpolls in these trees and gave really good views between 12 and 13.30 at least. (per Nic Hallam on Oxonbirds Yahoo Group).
