f. Viewed from my office window without bins, but quite close, soaring over Estate. Large bird of prey, almost as big as a common buzzard. Very distinctive flap flap glide flight. 'Neat' appearance, wing tips not fingered. SU956808.

Very large hawk being mobbed by much smaller Sparrowhawk. Both high up and no bins available. Larger bird then swooped and drifted north-east.

1(m) and 1(f). Female flying slowly into SW wind, being followed some 100m by male. Just above tree top over my garden and all marks and features clearly seen.
