Proposed development at Main Pit

There is a proposal and "consultation" to build 220 houses including 30 "floating" houses at Main Pit. Full details here.
Two public consultation events are being held this weekend:
- Saturday 12 July 2014 from 3.30pm - 6.30pm at Burghfield Sailing Club, Hangar Road, RG7 4AP
- Saturday 19 July 2014 from 2:30pm - 5pm at Burghfield Village Hall, Recreation Rd, RG7 3EN
It goes without saying that this would have a negative effect on the bird life!
