17:30	6a 2j. A large area of heath/gorse has been destroyed by fire this pm. From the Cuckoo tree across the Wish stream to the footpath on the Surrey side. There has been one Woodlark on the path under the Cuckoo tree for at least a week so I fear for the nest now, if it is in this area.
