| 06:40 | Heading east up the valley. Distinctive shape, flight action, brown and white face clearly visible. Mobbed by crow, circled west then returned east 10 mins later. | |||

| 08:25 | Circled and drifted west over the Kennet valley. Seen at distance but distinctive. At least buzzard sized with long broad wings often held in an arched position (like a large gull) and with proportionately long outer wing (hand). Very dark above and when it banked shower a brilliant white under-body. At one point mobbed by a corvid (probably a Crow) and the osprey looked about twice its size. Flight action included rather ponderous regular wing beats followed by circling on arched wings. SU555655. | |||
