First sighting was a flock of 30+ birds which hid themselves well in Yews along the blue walk. An hour or so later a Sparrowhawk flushed two large flocks from trees at w end of blue walk. Conservative estimate of 80 birds possibly as many as 100. Seen with S. Harley.

First one found by Alex Cruikshank, during today's bird race organised by BBOWT, in trees behind Discovery centre. Four bird race teams all had great views of it perched in a tree by the car park. Later 1 or 2 also seen/heard by team led by Colin Williams to the SW of the nature discovery lake. Hence poss 3 birds. SU506670.
