17:15 | male. Heard purring then seen perched in a dead tree towards back of small spinney alongside Hog Oak Lane 200 metres south of Drift Road. Could be the habitual Hog Oak bird slightly off territory. No Willow Warbler singing. Footnote: after a number of subsequent visits to this area no further sign so likely to have been a migrant.
