11:45	The Buff-bellied Pipit has been reported late morning in SE corner of reservoir. It has been moving onto nearby fields so may go missing. Gates closed at 4pm. Tomorrow access from 8am-4pm. This will be the last access available this year. Key holders only.

	Quite mobile today but still favouring East bank. spent 1 hour on the gravel workings but did return. Also became a lot more skittish in the afternoon when it seemed to befriend the local Grey Wagtail. For over an hour they were inseperable until flying off together towards the Honda building at 14:05. Key holders only.

	Access for Saturday: there will be access from 10am on Saturday. You must get a day permit from the person on the gate (suggested donation £2) and you must sign out when you leave. You will be able to park at the sailing club carpark. Key holders only.

	Unfortunately the Berks Ornithological Club has been unable to find a volunteer to organise the twitch today so access is only for bird club permit holders. If this changes I'll post a message here. If the bird is there tomorrow access will be possible. Please abide by these instructions as violating them could jeopordise the relationship between the club and Thames Water. Key holders only.

13:45	Still present beyond the pier. For non-permit holders access has been arranged for the rest of the day. Day permits will be issued on-site by Mike McKee for a suggested donation of £2. Keep to the main perimeter path and abide by any other on-site instructions. Directions: drive throught the gate and up the road to the sailing club, park to the left of the building and walk left towards the pier (c.200m). Key holders only.
