15:30 | Hunting fieldfares and starlings in private wildflower meadow and adjoining copse at north side of Shepherds Hill. Watched for 10 minutes, then off high to north west. SU431717. | |||

04:45 | Bird seen on ground from approx 10 - 15 feet, just before Riseley on the route to swallowfield. Both ear tufts were noticeable as was the pale face and light coloured eyes. The bird was noticeable due to proximity of street lighting some 20 feet away. It had a small rodent in talons. Observed for approx 1 - 2 minutes. |
