Newly hatched chick and one egg still in nest on outside window ledge of outbuilding of office in TVP. There are three narrow ledges about a metre off the ground and all have nests on in various states of completion. When my colleague pointed out the nests I assumed they had been placed there by the grounds maintenance team. However, two eggs appeared in one and the female has been in constant attendance and the first has hatched today!
