14:36 | At 800+ yards watched a Red Kite circling at about 250-300 ft, being buzzed by a tiny accipiter for about 1 min, before it went off dropping fast to SE behind St Nicholas Church. Structure, flight jizz and wingspan all point at this species, but distance preventing 100% positive ID (seen with TAG). | |||

| 14:30 | Walking along the west side of Sandford lake towards overflow from Sanford lane when a small BOP came from behind me, very low ( less than 3 foot above the path ) and fast, looked blue/grey and sharp winged, then veered right across the overflow and into the meadow. lost sight after that.
