fem. on Thames near Cleeve Court. Seen from towpath, at about 30m at closest. As not far from home, hurried back to collect camera & lens having taken a record shot on my phone, but as focusing on it after collecting the camera, it flew off north (12-20). Walked north to try to relocate but no luck - not surprising as there was a party of noisy children & a cabin cruiser! Only second I've seen on the Thames in 53 years.

imm/f. Currently diving west of Pimple island near yellow buoy 14. Update: seems to have been displaced by paddle borders and boats going right through where it was diving. Didn’t see where it went so could still be present. Still present between and north of the large eastern islands.
