11:00	1w drk. Looks like the Main Pit bird but more advanced moult state now with pale patches at base of bill very diffuse in otherwise dark head, more back feathers moulted and some flank feathers too.

09:32	1w male. In clear water just east of Oystercatcher island, viewable from canal slipway. Interesting bird with pale feather patches at base of bill perhaps suggesting female but some moulted scaps showing it to be male.
