The two summer plumaged Icelandic birds I had been watching and photographing alongside a beautiful black male adult Ruff on the flooded Dorney Common North Pool were spooked by a low flying Red Kite at 1445 hours and flew strongly east along the Jubilee River via the Eton Wick flood field.
