Picture framing

Following the release of the Berkshire Bird Atlas and the sale of the artwork there are many Berkshire birders in possession of pictures who may be wondering what to do with them.
I bought the Peregrine (by Jan Wilczur) and the Hoopoe (by Robert Gillmor) and took them to Cherry Thompson in Emmer Green, Reading to be professionally framed. She's very helpful and has many sample frames to try out and can offer advice as to what would best complement the picture.
The photos don't do them justice (problems with flash indoors) but I can assure you that they look really good! The Peregrine is 13" x 11" and cost £29.50 to be framed (including frame, mount and picture wire). The Hoopoe is 11" x 8" and cost £25.50. Prices will obviously vary depending on size, frame, and mount. I took them in on a Saturday and picked them up on the following Saturday.
Cherry is based at the Post Office at 14 Milestone Way Precinct, Emmer Green, Reading, RG4 8XW, i.e. the parade of shops including Budgens. She's usually there after 11am but you might want to phone first, her mobile number is 07765345992.
Disclaimer: I have no association with Cherry Thompson, I'm just happy to recommend her services.
